In great anticipation of cool weather at Rhinebeck, I pulled together some scraps to knit some thick and warm socks. Behold, the funky post-modern results of an ultimate game of yarn chicken using Blue Sky Fibers worsted 100% organic cotton and bulky Berroco Catena (merino & nylon) yarn.
I used the classic worsted ribbed sock pattern #61 from Atelier Yarns with size 6 needles using the magic loop method. This is my favorite sock pattern and upon finishing this pair last night, I've already cast on another pair of socks in Galway wool using the same pattern.
